British Combat Association - BCA
I believe everyone should know how to protect themselves, that is why I love teaching the British Combat Association (or BCA for short). I am one of the first members of the association after training and grading under the great Geoff Thompson, being personally graded to 4th Dan in 1995. I now teach the training methods and ethos of self protection to police forces, military units, body guard teams as well as civilians.
Each area of self protection is covered in-depth so you can build up a style that suits you and can be used to save your life or the people you love:
- Line up and use of the fence
- Pre-emptive striking
- Locks, holds and controls
- Throws
- Ground control
- Weapons awareness
All these techniques are covered as well as:
- Use of adrenaline
- Fight conditioning
- Awareness training
The AFC have a great reputation in teaching practice effective self protection training to the military, police security services and door teams.
Come and learn how to create a healthy state of fear, rather than living in it!
Male, Female, Non-Binary it does not matter! Everyone is welcome, but you must be over 18 to train in the adult classes.
